Tightlacing is a process that takes a while and you have to cinch the lacing up tighter by inches over a certain amount of time, hence why they call it waist training. I think they also just look great outside an outfit for fashion purposes. If you're going to do waist training, it's always best to buy the best corset out there, despite the price. But fashion corsets you can get for $20 sometimes.
